Kitty

I didn't think my Saturday night D&D sessions could get quirkier, but I would be proven wrong. We came across a reanimated hand, whose sole purpose seemed to be to make a rude gesture at us. The barbarian in the group, with an INT of 4, decided to adopt it and named it "three" for the number of fingers he could count up to. We soon started just calling it "Kitty" and the chain-smoking old lady in our group knit a sweater for it. We went through pretty much the whole night's adventure with the hand attempting to claw its "owner" to death with every chance it gets, and the barbarian being totally oblivious and thought it was just being affectionate and playful.

I regret to report that Kitty did not make it through the end of the night, when half of the team almost died as well. We may still team wipe in the aftermath, with the barbarian in a blind and tearful rage over the loss of his loyal companion. I'm going to the next session with new characters prepared heheh...
